LIVERPOOL will be looking to break top-flight records in their remaining seven games after being confirmed as top-flight champions for the first time since 1990.

No-one can argue that Jurgen Klopp’s side didn’t deserve to win the league having won an incredible 28 games out of 31 matches.
But the players can’t afford to take their foot off the gas if they want to become record-breakers and create history in the Premier League.
Sky have detailed a number of records that the club are in sight of breaking, which if done, would leave no question that their side will go down as one of the greatest in history.
Liverpool are just four wins shy of equally the Citizens’ record of 32 wins in a single season, which they did twice in both the 2017/18 and 2018/19 campaigns.
And should they rack up maximum points in their next four outings, they will have the chance to break the record away at Arsenal on July 15.
Another City record that looks increasingly likely of being overtaken is their points tally of 100 that they achieved in 2018.
The Reds are currently on 86 points, and once again should things go their way, the Emirates will be the venue they can create history.
Klopp’s men are also looking to become the only side in Premier League history to win every single home game in a single season.
Chelsea came close in the 2004/05 term when they racked up 18 victories in front of their fans, with Manchester United hitting the same number in 2011.
And City have had 18 home wins at the Etihad in their 2011/12 and 2018/19 Premier League-winning campaigns.
Liverpool can break the record at Anfield against Chelsea on July 18, should they beat Aston Villa and Burnley prior to facing the Blues.
Incredibly, the Club World Cup champions haven’t lost on their own patch since losing to Crystal Palace in April 2017.
Finally, Liverpool can eclipse City yet again of finishing the season with the biggest title-winning margin.
Pep Guardiola’s men finished 19 points ahead of rivals United in 2018, and with Klopp’s side already 23 points clear of City, they look set to smash the record.
And to rub salt in the wounds of City, Liverpool will achieve the feat at the Etihad on July 2 if results go their way.
