IN an LA Galaxy far far away Natalie Portman is pushing ahead with plans for her women’s football team.
The Star Wars actress was on a real Jed-hi as she revealed the new club will be called Angel City.

And the Oscar winner is not Darth, sorry, daft after roping in A-lister pals Eva Longoria, Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Garner, Uzo Aduba and America Ferrera as owners.
With that kind of celeb backing, her team will be a force to be reckoned with in the NWSL when they kick off in 2022.
On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Portman said: “I’m just so excited for the future of women’s football in the USA.
“A group of us are extremely passionate about this sport because we have the best players in the world in the US — in the most popular sport in the world.
“We won the last two World Cups as well.
“We got together and we’re bringing Angel City FC, the women’s soccer team for LA to LA . . .
“And now we are super excited to just celebrate these incredible athletes. It’s also the first female-led, female investors of any professional sport.”
Sounds like the Skywalker’s the limit for Nat’s dream team.
You just wonder where they will play their home games? Maybe Portman Road…
