WOLVES’ shamed midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White has been ordered to train at home after breaking strict lockdown rules by partying with two Love Island contestants in Greenwich.
The 20-year-old has been told he must prove he has not contracted coronavirus before returning to the club’s Compton training ground.
Gibbs-White will need to provide a negative coronavirus test after attending the party
The Wolves player could be set for a two-week fine after the London bash
Wolves are currently investigating Gibbs-White’s own goal when he travelled to the capital to join a Bank Holiday house party, after previously urging others to stay at home and support the NHS.
Club chiefs have remained tight-lipped and insist their policy is to deal with breaches of club discipline internally.
But Gibbs-White, who called gaffer Nuno Espirito Santo to personally apologise for his actions, could face a fine of up to two weeks wages for his recklessness.
A video posted on Snapchat emerged online to show the attacking midfielder living it up with former Love Island contestants Georgia Steel and Elma Lazar.
The bash is thought to have started at 6pm on Thursday night of last week – lasting until 3am the following morning.
Gibbs-White, understood to earn £30,000-a-week, had previously written on his Instagram: “Please stay at home and only go out if it is completely necessary.”

ON THE JOT
Meanwhile, Wolves striker Diogo Jota has revealed how winning the first ever virtual ePremier League has fired him up to get back to playing on the grass.
“I can’t even remember the last time I passed a ball to anyone, so I’m really looking forward to doing that,” said the Portuguese striker.
“Training with my team-mates will be the first feeling that things are going back to normal. Playing a match again is something I am really looking forward to.
“We could see what it meant to the people watching us play in the ePremier League because they miss football and for us it’s even harder because we were the ones who were actually playing.”

Jota is one of the few players who has experienced playing behind closed-doors this season after Wolves drew 1-1 with Olympiakos in Athens, in front of empty stands in March.
“I remember that game. Playing a Europa League game behind closed doors was very strange,” the 23-year-old told Sky Sports.
“No one wanted that but we are out of action now for such a long time that we understand that when we begin again it needs to be behind closed doors to avoid social contact. And although it’s strange, it’s better than not playing at all.”
