ROY Keane has named THREE Arsenal players he thinks are a “big problem” for manager Mikel Arteta if they want to push on.

Arteta had led his team to consecutive victories against champions Liverpool as he steadily improves the club – but they came up short last night.

And pundit Keane, 49, believes the defence leaves much to be desired – and targeted David Luiz, Kieran Tierney and Rob Holding as three players who were dragging the team down.

The defensive trio started in a back three last night but they’re not good enough, Keane said.

Speaking on Monday Night Football, the ex-Manchester United captain added: “There’s no getting away from that but he will still want some improvement.

“His hands are tied which is a big problem because he still needs a couple more players in.

“We saw again tonight that defensively – I still think David Luiz, Kieran Tierney and Rob Holding, there’s big question marks over them.

“Luiz still has that mistake in him.”

Arsenal took the lead against the run of play last night when Alexandre Lacazette opened the scoring after an error from Andy Robertson.

But their advantage only lasted a couple of minutes as Sadio Mane equalised after great work by Mohamed Salah.

Robertson made up for his mistake by giving Liverpool the lead, before new signing Diogo Jota sealed the victory on his Premier League debut for the Reds.

Who should Arsenal sign out of Aouar and Partey?

Arsenal are still being heavily linked to multiple players before the window closes as they look to ramp up their midfield.

The north London club are scrambling to try and get Houssem Aouar over the line but latest reports suggest that it is proving to be a very difficult task.

They are also trying to bring Thomas Partey to the Emirates – a mission that was given a boost when he was left on the bench for Atletico Madrid’s 6-1 win against Granada.
