Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has won a trophy every 19 GAMES with sensational record far better than any other boss

ZINEDINE ZIDANE is on course to become Real Madrid’s most-successful ever manager.

The French boss led Los Blancos to their first LaLiga crown since 2016-17 on Thursday night.

Madrid beat Villarreal 2-1 thanks to a Karim Benzema double to put themselves out of sight of Barcelona.

It was also the club’s 34th LaLiga title, a record haul.

With the victory, Zidane has now won 11 trophies in just 209 matches in charge.

That’s the equivalent of a piece of silverware every 19 games – or half a domestic season.

Zidane has now won LaLiga twice, in 2016-17 and 2019-20, as well as the Champions League three times in a row between 2016 and 2018.

The Bernabeu boss has also won two Supercopa de Espana crowns (2017 and 2020) and two Uefa Super Cups (2016 and 2017).

Elsewhere, Zidane also led Real Madrid to two Club World Cups (2016 and 2017).

His astonishing record in terms of games per trophy is absolutely unparalleled.

Real Madrid’s most-successful manager, Miguel Munoz, won 14 trophies in 605 games.

That’s a trophy every 43 games, over DOUBLE that of Zidane.

Real won ten straight games since the season restart to overtake Barcelona and clinch the crown.

The victory sparked raucous celebrations amongst the players.

But all eyes were on wantaway Gareth Bale, who continued his bizarre behaviour.

Bale, who turned 31 on the day of Real’s triumph, barely celebrated the win, seen standing with his arms crosses as Zidane was thrown in the air by the team.

The Welsh golf lover caused controversy last week when he was snapped pretending to sleep during the clash against Alaves.

Bale – dropped for the past six games – also mocked Zidane in Monday’s win over Granada by using a roll of tape as pretend binoculars.
