PSG ‘ready to make Pep Guardiola massive offer to leave Man City’ if they sack Thomas Tuchel

PEP GUARDIOLA is reportedly at the top of Paris Saint-Germain’s shortlist of managers to replace under-pressure Thomas Tuchel.

The Manchester City boss, 49, has one more season after this one left on his current contract at the Etihad.

But the French champs believe they can lure him to the Parc des Princes, and according to The Express will “make him a huge offer to leave the Premier League champions”.

The Spanish gaffer is facing up to the prospect of surrendering the title to rampant Liverpool this campaign.

City are a mammoth 13 points behind the Reds having played two games more.

And with big problems to solve in defence and the prospect of losing midfield maestro David Silva in the summer, it’s a tough time at the helm for the former Barcelona boss.

PSG WANT CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

Guardiola has insisted he will see out his deal with Manchester City, and dismissed that he could leave at the end of the season.

Speaking before the 2-2 draw at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday, Guardiola said: “Unless they sack me, I am staying, 100 per cent.

“It’s not because we have won the last two games.

“Even if it was going bad, I’m not going anywhere.

“No manager wins all the time. I enjoy working with these players. We’ve lost some games so it is simple, we need to work out what we can do better.”

PSG are desperate to win the Champions League, with the French title wrapped up season on season.

And there are doubts in the club’s hierarchy that Tuchel is the man to bring them that elusive trophy.
