Paulo Dybala admits he’s still not 100 per cent after coronavirus hell having tested positive FOUR times

PAULO DYBALA admitted he still does not feel 100 per cent after testing positive for coronavirus four times.

The Juventus forward, 26, first revealed he had contracted Covid-19 back on March 21.

Paulo Dybala, with girlfriend Oriana Sabatini, still does not quite feel back to normal almost three months after catching coronavirus

He and girlfriend Oriana Sabatini self-isolated together but he was unable to shake off the virus for around six weeks.

And even now, the Argentine reckons he is not quite back up to full speed just yet.

That could prove a worry for Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri with Serie A set to return next week.

Dybala said: “I had coronavirus but now I feel much better. I am not 100 per cent but I am quite well.

“We are back to training and football is returning. We will soon be doing what we love most.”

Juventus’ season is set to resume on Friday with the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final against AC Milan.

The two sides played out a 1-1 draw at the San Siro before the lockdown and will go head to head for a spot in the final – scheduled for June 17 – against Napoli or Inter Milan.

Cristiano Ronaldo and his team-mates will then return to Serie A action on June 22 with an away trip to Bologna.

The club sit one point clear of Lazio at the top of the table and will be desperate to seal a ninth title on the bounce.

Dybala added: “I hope we can have fun and entertain. I think it will be useful because we will have many consecutive games, and everyone will have the opportunity to watch a different game every day.

“It will be beautiful.”

Dybala took to Instagram almost three months ago to confirm he had coronavirus but it appeared the couple were on the mend fairly quickly afterwards as Sabatini tested negative… before a further test proved she still had the virus.

The striker spoke about the struggles of what it is like to have coronavirus and said he felt “dead tired” after five minutes of exercise.

But at the time, in late March, he added that both he and Sabatini were feeling “fine” and the symptoms had then passed.

However, it was not until early May that Juventus confirmed their player had been given the all clear.

A statement from the Old Lady read: “The player underwent a double check, which saw him test negative.

“Paulo Dybala performed, as per protocol, a double check with diagnostic tests (swabs) for coronavirus Covid-19, which came back with negative results.

“The player has, therefore, recovered and will no longer be subjected to the home isolation regime.”

Dybala shared a post from his garden on Instagram, saying: “My face says it all, I’m finally recovered from Covid-19.”

He then added: “Many people talked in the past few weeks… but I can finally confirm I am healed.

“Thank you once again for your support and my thoughts on all who are still suffering from it. Take care.”
