Norwich have signed Danel Sinani amid the coronavirus lockdown and Canaries boss Daniel Farke revealed his delight
The Serbian-born player, who met Carrow Road officials before coronavirus swept across Europe, arrives on a free transfer from Luxembourg side F91 Dudelange.
Sinani, 23, caught the eye in this season’s Uefa Europa League when he scored four goals in group stage matches against APOEL Nicosia and Sevilla.
Norwich boss Daniel Farke said: “We’re all happy that we’re able to sign Danel. He’s a young player full of potential.
“He’s pretty interesting because he can play more or less all the offensive positions.
“He also has great ability in terms of end product, scoring many goals and delivering many assists.

“Luxembourg is a completely different level so we will need to give him some time, but he has proven he can deliver in the Europa League.
“It’s a sign of our way that we give interesting talents the chance to impress.”
Sinani said: “Norwich is a very big club with many good players.
“I will try to do my best and try to continue to hopefully score goals and to help the team to get in a high position.”
The Canaries were said to have landed the 6ft hit man earlier this month.
With all football postponed until the immediate future, it remains unknown when supporters will be able to see Sinani in a Norwich jersey.

Decisions are still yet to be made about the future of players whose contracts expire this summer with the season likely to be extended into July.
It may be the case that Sinani will have to wait until the beginning of next season to make his debut.
Sinani scored 14 goals in 17 league games for his old club this season.
