STEVE BRUCE wants three more Newcastle signings as he put the finishing touches on a loan deal for Nabil Bentaleb from Schalke.
The midfielder left Tottenham for the German club in 2017 but is yet to play this season under former Huddersfield boss David Wagner.

The Algerian, 25, snubbed Prem rivals Crystal Palace as he plots a return to England having been exiled to the reserves for “disciplinary issues” last March.
He will join on loan until the end of the season but both parties are believed to be open to a permanent move in the summer.
Magpies boss Steve Bruce hopes a deal to bring in Inter Milan winger Valentino Lazaro on loan will be completed in the next 24 hours.
He is on the lookout for a new left-back and would ideally also like a striker before the end of January.
WILLEMS’ TEARS OVER EXIT
Jetro Willems and Paul Dummett have both been ruled out for the season, leaving Matt Ritchie as the only recognised left wing-back.
The on-loan Willems ruptured his ACL against Chelsea last Saturday and has returned to parent club Eintracht Frankfurt.
Willems posted on Twitter: “While I’m typing this my eyes are full of tears. I pray before each game and I ask God to let everyone end the match healthy whether we win or lose.
“As you may have already heard, the game against Chelsea was my last game for this season.
“I had in all fronts and ways an incredible, beautiful, fun and especially a good half year and I want to thank everyone who were involved for that.
“It was fantastic to play for NUFC! I will come back stronger! I believe in the plan I made with God and the path we have chosen. I pledge to do everything I can so it will not be my last game for NUFC!!!”
And Dummett is unlikely to be seen against this campaign after picking up a tendon injury away at Wolves.
Bruce confirmed midfielder Ki Sung-yeung wants to leave and that he is looking to offload Henri Saivet and Jack Colback.
