MORGAN SCHNEIDERLIN is poised to quit Everton after passing a medical at Ligue 1 side Nice with just one year left on his deal.
The Frenchman, 30, has spent the weekend in the South of France to hash out a deal, according to reports.

Nice director of football Julien Fournier told French media: “He should sign on Monday. He has passed his medical. We are waiting for Everton’s signature.”
The Toffees midfielder battled through a tricky two-year stint at Manchester United before arriving at Goodison Park for £24m in 2017.
But the French ace has failed to hit the ground running at Everton, clocking up just 18 outings this season before he was hit with a knee injury which required surgery.
PSG were confirmed as Ligue 1 champions at the end of April after the top two flights of French football were scrapped amid the coronavirus crisis.
And Schneiderlin will still have to wait until the original end of the Premier League season on July 26 to make the move official.
The midfielder has clocked up 73 top-flight appearances at Everton, finding the net just once and receiving three red cards.
The Frenchman has previously admitted fears that he jumped ship from Old Trafford too soon.
The 15-cap France international says you only have to look at the current United squad to know he could have made a career for himself in Manchester.
Schneiderlin told BBC Radio 5 Live in October: “I wanted to do more and I had the capacity to do more [at Man Utd].
“Maybe I jumped out of the boat too quickly when I didn’t play for three months.
“When I look at other players having a great career at Manchester United, they all had a spell of four or five months when they didn’t play.”
Everton’s 0-0 draw against Liverpool became the most-watched Premier League match of all time with 5.5million viewers tuning into the Merseyside derby.
It topped Manchester City’s 1-0 win against rivals United in 2012, which was viewed by 4.04m fans.
Had City failed to beat Arsenal on their first game back since the league’s return, Liverpool would have needed just three points at Goodison Park to secure their first title in 30 years.
