MATIJA SARKIC is heading for Aston Villa’s exit amid rumours he could be a target for Midlands rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Villa goalkeeper has been linked with a move away from the relegation survivors with his contract due to expire this month.

And on Saturday the stopper confirmed his exit via social media.
On Twitter the Montenegro international wrote: “What a journey! It’s been a great 5 years at @AVFCOfficial . Full of good memories and experiences.
“Thank you to all my team mates, everyone at the club and all the villains!”
Wolves, who’ve been battling for Europa League spot are believed to be considering a move for the 23-year-old.
And the Grimsby-born goalie has also attracted interest from Sunderland according to reports.
Sarkic, who kept six clean sheets in 14 appearances during a loan spell at Livingstone, signed for Villa from Anderlecht in 2015
And the Montenegro ace’s departure comes as the Villans beat the drop into the Championship in dramatic fashion on Sunday.
Club skipper Jack Grealish rifled in a powerful shot to put his team ahead in the 84th minute.
However the Hammers struck back almost immediately with an 85th minute equaliser from Andriy Yarmolenko.
The 1-1 finish was enough to see Villa end the season out of the danger zone by a point.
