LIVERPOOL legend Mark Lawrenson has showed off his dramatic new shaved-head look.

Self-isolation seemed to get the better of the former Match of the Day pundit as he took the clippers to his bonce and displayed the result to stunned Twitter followers.

Lawro, 62, wrote alongside his selfie: “No Footie..No Work..No Hair…!!! Brrr..”

Fans were absolutely loving the look – and took the opportunity to make fun of him a bit too.

One said: “That thatched roof had listed status.”

Another posted: “It will add a few yards of pace.”

A fellow user wrote: “Next time we shall see you on TV again it will be down your back!”

One fan quipped: “I thought this was Bruce Grobbelaar using that ageing app.”

Another said: “What’s happened to the Thatched Roof?? Nooooooooo.”

Lawrenson, who made more than 250 appearances for the Reds, has been a popular face on our television screens for years.

Fans were used to seeing his flowing grey locks as he sat opposite Gary Lineker most Saturday nights on BBC One.

But with coronavirus decimating the entire sporting schedule, Lawro is stuck at home like most of us at the moment.

In fact, just two days ago, Lawrenson revealed he had been affected by the coronavirus crisis as he had flights cancelled by two separate airlines.

He wrote: “What a Difference-Had Flights booked with both Jet2.com & Easy Jet. Due to Coronavirus Flights Cancelled – Understandably.. .

“Jet 2will refund in 28 days-Unequivocally..EasyJet have the Temerity to insist we APPLY for a Refund.Jet2 1 EasyJet 0 !!!”
