MANCHESTER UNITED stars were forced to swerve a huge pothole on their way into training on Wednesday – only to find the gate to get into Carrington had slammed shut.
Security at the Aon Training Complex were forced to help the pampered United stars avoid damaging their cars as they guided the players around the sizeable puddle.

Juan Mata dodged it in his luxury Aston Martin, while Marcus Rashford did the same in his matte black Mercedes.
But a number of stars opted to crash through it in their massive SUVs, including Daniel James and Harry Maguire in their Range Rovers.
Unfortunately for the United players, the early-morning drama didn’t end there.
On arriving at the training ground itself, they found the gate to get into Carrington had slammed shut.
Nemanja Matic was forced to hop out of his red Ferrari and crack it back open again – all the while watched by boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who sat in his Range Rover throughout.
United will be hoping it proves to be little more than a minor speed bump as they ramp up their preparations for Thursday night’s Europa League clash.
Solskjaer’s men go up against Club Brugge at Old Trafford, with the tie level at 1-1 following the game in Belgium last week.
But the Norwegian chief can rest easy after being given assurances he will still be in charge next season.

In fact, Solskjaer is set to be handed a £250million transfer kitty as he lines up moves for Jadon Sancho, James Maddison and Jack Grealish in the summer.
And it could get even better for the United faithful after it was reported Saudi Arabian prince Mohammed bin Salman had turned his attention back to Old Trafford after his interest in Newcastle cooled.
It comes as good news for Man Utd fans after they learnt the club’s debt had risen by a monster £73.6m under the Glazer family.
