ROY KEANE tore into Manchester United’s squad after their dismal 1-0 home loss to Arsenal and blasted: “God help us!”
The Old Trafford legend claims his old club are light years away from returning to the elite and added: “We were talking about have they turned the corner – it’s the longest corner ever.”

Roy Keane says Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Co should no longer be given the benefit of the doubt over Man Utd’s stop-start progress
The Sky Sports pundit slammed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s players as spineless – lacking “energy, enthusiasm… quality… leadership”.
And he claimed Marcus Rashford’s body language was “shocking” – four days after the England striker’s 18-minute hat-trick destroyed RB Leipzig in the Champions League.
Keane starkly contrasted United’s current flops with the terrier spirit of England’s late 1966 World Cup hero Nobby Styles.
He said: “[Stiles was] 5ft 6in but the heart of a lion. I don’t see it out there, I don’t see men out there.
“I don’t see men you want to be in the trenches with, guys you trust, God help us.”
Keane added: “On top of all, a lack of energy, enthusiasm… they really lack quality.
“That really concerned me in the second half. They were getting in half-decent positions – no quality, no composure. The performances were really really poor.
“What characters are there in Manchester United? I just don’t see any.”
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s 69th minute penalty, conceded by an apologetic Paul Pogba, dumped United to 15th in the Premier League, with just seven points from six games.

And Keane said: “Rashford’s had loads of plaudits… but his body language today was shocking… shrugging his shoulders when things weren’t going his way.
“You roll your sleeves up for Man Utd when things aren’t going your way. That’s when you’re looking for leaders, for characters.
“I’ve got to say I don’t see enough of it. I don’t see any leaders out there. Right through the whole team.
“I’m really really worried for United now.
“I think the last year, year and a half, we give the benefit of the doubt – recruitment, blah, blah, blah… what’s happening upstairs – there’s problems.
“But there’s a long, long way back for this club.”
