MANCHESTER UNITED have fended off transfer interest from Arsenal to keep Omari Forson with the 15-year-old set to sign his first pro deal.
The attacking midfielder who joined the Red Devils from Tottenham last year, has become one of the hottest young prospects in the country.

Arsenal had hoped to agree professional terms with the youngster following his scintillating form with United’s Under-16 and Under-18 teams this season.
But The Daily Mail have now reported that Forson is on the verge of penning a pro deal with the Red Devils after the club moved quick to ward off their rivals.
The former West Ham academy prospect midfielder doesn’t turn 16 until July but has already been promoted to Neil Ryan’s Under-18 side, making seven appearances so far this season before coronavirus KO’d English football indefinitely.
The signing will come as a boost to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who is looking to build an exciting crop of youngsters at Old Trafford.
United lead the way in terms of academy graduates playing in the Prem with Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard, continuing to lead the club’s homegrown contingent.
The Red Devils have gone over 4000 competitive matches with at least one youth graduate in their first-team or matchday squad.
Forson also plays in England’s Under-16 side.
