MANCHESTER UNITED are signing strike starlet Isak Hansen-Aaroen – confirmed by a glowing Instagram post from his Norwegian club Tromso.
The second-tier leaders hailed their youngest-ever first-teamer, who will turn 16 on Saturday, as a “wonderful person” and a “unique football talent”.
Isak Hansen-Aaroen was pictured with Everton midfielder Tom Davies when a triallist before eventually choosing to join Man Utd
United are thought to have all but sealed the deal for the former Liverpool and Everton triallist last summer.
But they had to wait until his birthday this week to officially recruit him due to age rules.
Relegated Tromso said on social media: “A wonderful person. A unique football talent who just loves to play football now.
“He came from Floya to Tromso and joined the academy as a 10-year-old, studying at the Tromso school and made his debut in the first team as a 15-year-old. He had an assist in his last match for Tromso.
“Thank you so much for the last 10 years and good luck in Manchester United and on in your career.
“We hope you have a great time, see you soon.”
Hansen-Aaroen became Tromso’s youngest player last month, when aged 15 years and 319 days.
And it is no surprise that fellow Norwegian, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjær, is regarded as a major reason he chose Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, United are thought to be close to hijacking Arsenal’s £22million move for Lille centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes.
The Brazilian, 22, has been a long-time target of Gunners’ boss Mikel Arteta, as well as Napoli more recently.
