Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gave his centre-back the green light to link up with his former side as the Swede tries to maintain his fitness during the football blackout.

Victor Lindelof is training with his old club Vasteras in Sweden
The 25-year-old is back in his homeland as he tries to ride out the global pandemic.
And he linked up with old side Vasteras on Wednesday morning, where he played between 2007 and 2011.
Having contacted them to see if he could join in, Lindelof is expected to continue working with the second-tier side until the travel ban is lifted and United training is back on.

Sweden has 9,685 confirmed coronavirus cases and 870 deaths.
But the Scandinavian country is not on lockdown – despite the rising death toll – which means Vasteras can train as normal.
At the end of last month, Lindelof admitted he is still mad at defensive partner Harry Maguire for wrecking his World Cup 2018 dreams.
The Sweden international hasn’t forgotten the sore moment his United team-mate rose highest to head home England’s opener in the quarter-final in Russia.
Lindelof – who joined United three years ago – joked: “I’m still a bit mad at him for that!
“But I thought he was a great player back then and it’s great to have him on my team.”
