LIVERPOOL’S clash with Shrewsbury Town kicked off 15 minutes late after a serious crash on the M62.
Fans had trouble getting to the game due to the collision, which saw an air ambulance land on the motorway.

The incident happened on the border of Cheshire and Merseyside at 3.30pm with traffic still affected.
Liverpool were cruising at 2-0 in the original fixture but Jason Cummings scored twice after coming off the bench to earn the Shrews a money-spinning replay.
Jurgen Klopp has turned his back on the contest, which comes during the winter break for most Premier League sides.
The German, who is not at the game, played a full-strength line-up in Shrewsbury but is fielding a team of kids at Anfield tonight.
Neil Critchley is taking charge of his second game this season – after a game against Aston Villa clashed with the Club World Cup.
The Kop coach revealed: “I never thought it would happen once, let alone twice.
“I’m obviously really looking forward to what hopefully will be a special night.
“If the players play how I know they can play then I’m sure the support we have on the night will be right behind us.
“Hopefully we can make it a great night for everyone.”
