According to RMC Sport, Thiago has already said his goodbyes to his team-mates in Germany.

The source states that the 29-year-old has even already found somewhere to live in England.

Liverpool and Bayern Munich now have to reach an agreement over the transfer fee.

But for now, he remains a key part of Hansi Flick’s squad.

He played the full 90 minutes of his side’s incredible 8-2 victory over Barcelona.

Thiago has played for the Bundesliga giants since he joined from Barcelona in 2013.

The midfielder has won seven Bundesliga titles and three DFB Pokals with the German giants.

And even his own manager has urged him to continue his career in the Premier League.

Flick told Sport Bild: “As a person and as an athlete, I can understand him.

“Thiago played for Barcelona, and seven years for Bayern.

“Now he wants a challenge, which in my opinion must be in the Premier League.”
