‘SPECIAL TALENT’
Klopp also had high praise for ‘special talent’ Caoimhin Kelleher who kept a clean sheet on his Premier League debut.
The keeper made a couple of important saves in the game and contributed towards another Liverpool victory at home.
Klopp added: “He had a very good game, yes.
“Goalkeepers are all about saves and of course that is brilliant.
“But it’s also about contributions and what can he bring to the game, and that’s what makes him a very special talent to be honest.
“He’s very calm on the ball, his personality is very calm.
“And he used that. Technically he is outstanding with his feet.
“It’s good to have him.”

‘Oh my God’
Jurgen Klopp labeled it a ‘near perfect night’ as his side cruised to a 4-0 win in front of supporters.
Liverpool boss Klopp said he and his players had goosebumps walking out to cheering for the warm up.
Speaking to Amazon Prime Sport after the game, he said: “It was a near perfect night, to be honest.
“Imagine ten months ago someone told us we had a home again and that only 2000 people would show up.
“You would’ve thought it was a proper crisis and the football was going bad.
“And then tonight and it was so enjoyable, so nice and when we came out for the warm-up we all had goosebumps and I thought: Oh my god.
“It was better than I thought it would be. It was perfect. The noise that they made and you can see, hear and pretty much smell that they’d waited so long for it.
“Each little positive you can get just now, in life in general, is nice.
“When we read in the newspapers a vaccine was coming, the sun was shining for all of us.
“It’s so much more enjoyable when the people are involved.
“This game would not be the game we all love if we played without supporters – but we have to do it in this moment.
“The only sense in it is we appreciate these 2000 and that normality is coming back.”

GINI-US FINISH
Well worth another look at his finish!
GINI SPEAKS
Gini Wijnaldum was pleased to have his first goal of the season – and in front of fans in the Kop.
Wijnaldum hadn’t scored so far this season and said having the fans back helped improve the Reds’ performance on the night.
Speaking after the game, he said: “Wonderful. When we started to hear that supporters were allowed at a game, we were already happy with that.
“When we came outside to warm up, they were already here and cheering for us.
“It was a really good feeling to have them back and of course win the game 4-0.
“I don’t want to say it was a champions’ performance because we just did our job and we have to do this every week but we played a good game.
“We were patient and the possession play was really good and we scored good goals.
“the fans help to improve your performance a lot because they cheer and support for you during the game and everyone knows at Anfield that the supporters are fighting for the team.
“I don’t think we should look at other teams, we should only look at ourselves.
“We just have to give 100% and at the end we’ll see where we are.”
