LEICESTER have reportedly failed with a bid for Danish wonderkid Wahid Faghir.
The 16-year-old has been dubbed “the next Zlatan Ibrahimovic”, and has caused much excitement among scouts.

The Foxes’ bid of just under £1million, however, was deemed to be far too low for a player of Faghir’s promise, according to Ekstra Bladet.
The youngster is yet to make his first team debut for his club, Vejle Boldklub, but is a regular for their under-19 side.
The forward has bagged seven goals in 13 games this season in the Danish Under-19s league.
He has also been prolific for his country’s youth teams.
Faghir bagged three goals in six games for Denmark Under-16s.
And after quickly graduating to their Under-17s, he has bagged seven in 12 caps.
These goals included twice scoring against England.
Faghir is thought to possess a similar build and characteristics to the young Ibrahimovic.

At 16, Ibrahimovic was playing for Malmo’s youth team in his native Sweden.
And it was just a year later at 17 when he was asked to go for a trial at Arsenal, after which he famously said: “Arsene Wenger asked me to have a trial with Arsenal when I was 17. I turned it down. Zlatan doesn’t do auditions.”
Ibrahimovic later signed for Ajax in 2001, and the rest is history.
