Basic training was allowed to resume in Spain on Monday after the government eased some of the lockdown measures.
In a statement, Spanish league president Javier Tebas said: “Peoples health is paramount.
“We have a comprehensive protocol to safeguard the health of everyone involved as we work to restart LaLiga.
“Circumstances are unprecedented, but we hope to start playing again in June and finish our 2019-20 season this summer.”
All players and staff set to return to training will have to be tested two days before individual practices can begin.
The tests will reportedly begin as early as Tuesday and the league wants them to be conducted daily after sessions begin.
LaLiga wants players to train for at least a month before resuming with matches, to avoid issues with fitness and injuries.
Even then, games will go ahead behind closed doors – and could be well into 2021.
Despite Tebas’ hope of a return to football in June, there is not yet an official date for the league’s resumption.
Tebas has always been adamant the season WOULD finish, saying a cancellation to the season would cost a staggering £840million.
REAL DEADLINE
Over the weekend, Real Madrid set a deadline of May 11 to return to training after adapting their Valdebebas HQ to comply with health rules.
Players will be individually training in order to comply with social distancing measures in Spain as the nation begins to gradually lift some of its coronavirus restrictions.
Marca states communal areas of the complex will remain closed in order to maintain hygiene levels with only a small number of playing and coaching staff being given entry to the site.

It’s thought many other clubs in the league will enforce similar regulations when they return to training.
A number of Premier League sides, including Arsenal and Tottenham, have returned to their training grounds in recent days for individual sessions.
