Kylian Mbappe and PSG boss Thomas Tuchel AGAIN involved in touchline bust-up after French star is subbed off

KYLIAN MBAPPE ignored manager Thomas Tuchel after being substituted during Paris Saint-Germain’s 5-0 thumping of Montpellier.

The 21-year-old was withdrawn in the 68th minute, moments after Layvin Kurzawa had put the Parisians five up at the Parc des Princes.

With the French icon having bagged PSG’s fourth ten minutes earlier, Tuchel, 46, took the opportunity to substitute his star man with the three points already safely wrapped up.

Mauro Icardi replaced Mbappe, who was visibly furious with his manager’s decision.

And in front of onlooking fans, Mbappe attempted to storm past Tuchel, hardly even looking at the former Dortmund manager as he was being spoken to.

Tuchel even had to physically stop his petulant star from ignoring him completely and stropping straight past him.

When Mbappe did reply, he put his hand over his mouth to prevent television cameras from seeing what he was saying.

Eventually he did manage to get past Tuchel, stroppily striding back to the bench – still furious to have been withdrawn.

I am not angry but I am sad because it is not necessary.

And after the game, Tuchel said on the subject: “These are not good images, but we are not the only club that has this kind of reaction. I saw it with Dortmund.

“It is not good because it opens up subjects, it is a distraction.

“I am not angry but I am sad because it is not necessary.”

Mbappe has had another brilliant season in Paris, netting 14 goals and assisting a further five in 16 Ligue 1 appearances this season.

But this outburst will worry fans, with their star player having often been linked with a move away from the club.

His contract has just over two years left to run, with the likes of Real Madrid and Liverpool potentially sniffing around.

As well as World Cup glory, Mbappe has already scooped three Ligue 1 titles, a Coupe de France and a Coupe de la Ligue in his young career so far.

And his position as such a superstar puts PSG in a weak position in terms of dealing with embarrassing outbursts like this – as has been shown previously with Neymar’s antic.

PSG could lose Kylian Mbappe this summer with a ‘big possibility’ he joins Real Madrid in £257m transfer
