The last time these two sides met, Guardiola’s men scored twice in 93 seconds away at Selhurst park.

Crystal Palace did not simply roll over, hitting back with Christian Benteke’s crossbar strike and Wilfried Zaha’s attempt that forced Ederson to make a crucial save in the final two minutes of normal time.

However, they were unable to prevent City running out 2-0 winners and avenging their shock defeat at the Etihad.

Since their promotion to the Premier League in 2013, Palace have won just two of their 15 meetings with City, drawing one and losing 12.

But they did come agonisingly close to defeating them at Selhurst Park in Guardiola’s record-breaking 2017/18 season.

Only an Ederson save from Luka Milivojevic’s penalty ensured that game ended all square at 0-0.

What to expect when these two go toe-to-toe again?

Midfield maestro, Kevin De Bruyne, will continue to control the middle of the park, building upon the 14 assists and 19 big chances he has already created this season to help guide City to their sixth consecutive win.

Aguero will attempt to add to his ever-growing goal tally and chalk up some more goals to get one step closer to breaking another Alan Shearer record for most goals scored.

The Eagles’ goal threat tends to rest on the shoulders of Jordan Ayew – with Roy Hodgson hyping up the Ghanaian International’s role in securing his side results.

Hodgson will also hope Cenk Tosun’s arrival can ease the burden on Ayew and Wilfried Zaha.
