A HUGE robot-like figure of Cristiano Ronaldo has been paraded around a tiny Italian city as part of an annual celebration.
If the infamous bust of his face in his hometown of Madeira wasn’t enough, a new version of his face has been paraded around Viareggio.

Every year thousands flock to celebrate the Carnival of Viareggio, held in Tuscany.
The main characteristic of the event sees a parade of floats and masks of influential people such as politicians and sportsmen.
And they went all out to get a giant-sized figure of the Juventus superstar as part of the celebrations.
Ronaldo, whose performances are often out of this world, was depicted as a huge robot covered in armour while flexing his muscles.
For a superstar that prides himself on his looks, his face is questionable as he is given a slightly terrifying stare.
With the ability to move his eyes and open his mouth, the face was in danger of scaring the local children who turn out for the celebration.
But it still didn’t compare to the bust unveiled in Madiera that was so bad it had to be replaced.
Sculptor Emanuel Santos’ creation was likened to Niall Quinn and The Head from CITV show Art Attack.
The wonky smile and asymmetrical eyes bore little resemblance to the Portugal superstar.
He spent three weeks crafting his masterpiece and it was unveiled at the airport when it was renamed in Ronaldo’s honour in March last year.
