SERGIO AGUERO is the latest superstar to be linked to David Beckham’s Inter Miami side.
SunSport exclusively revealed that the new Major League Soccer outfit have made contact with the Manchester City striker.
Aguero smashed Thierry Henry’s record to become the Premier League’s top all-time foreign goalscorer earlier this month.
And Beckham, alongside head coach Diego Alonso, wants to lure the 31-year-old to America for their debut season in the MLS.
Inter Miami are set to play their first home match against Beckham’s former club, La Galaxy, on March 14.
But shocking pictures taken on January 8 showed that the Fort Lauderdale Stadium is still a construction site.
The MLS side have also been linked to Barcelona forward Luis Suarez – who has 14 goals under his belt this season.
Speaking to ESPN amid speculation that he will join Inter Miami, the 32-year-old said: “MLS is a competition which has grown a lot in the last few years and you can see that with the young players that have moved there in the last two years, above all the South Americans.
“That shows that the league wants to grow and not just bring in players of a certain age that are going to retire there.
“They look for that mix to make the league better.”
SunSport revealed that Celtic winger Lewis Morgan could also be on the verge of a sensational switch Inter Miami.
The American newbies signed Argentine duo Matias Pellegrini and Julian Carranza, both 19, last summer.
Barcelona veteran Sergio Busquets also admitted he is “tempted” to join the MLS side.
New club skipper Roman Torres is expected to start in the heart of defence alongside Ben Sweat and Grant Lillard.
Hector Moreno could occupy the left-back position after it emerged that he was in “advanced talks” with the club.
