Harry Kane trolls Tottenham team-mate Gareth Bale and says he’s ‘running off to watch The Masters’

HARRY KANE brilliantly trolled his Tottenham team-mate Gareth Bale by captioning his latest Instagram post ‘Running off to watch The Masters’.

Golf-mad Bale, 31, was caught looking at his laptop while in the stands for Wales’ game against the USA on Thursday night – with fans joking he was watching The Masters on his MacBook.

And England skipper Kane continued the joke by adding the cheeky caption to a social media post of him celebrating a goal in Three Lions training.

Real Madrid loanee Bale was given the night off by the Dragons – who had to do without boss Ryan Giggs after his arrest on suspicion of assaulting his girlfriend.

Bale has made no secret of his love for golf, with his infamous Wales flag bearing the message ‘Wales. Golf. Madrid. In That Order’ ruffling the feathers of those at the Bernabeu.

And with The Masters at Augusta starting on Thursday after being delayed from its usual spring slot due to Covid-19, supporters were convinced he was sneaking a peek at the action.

One wrote: “One million per cent chance that is The Masters Gareth Bale is watching.”

Replying, another said: “You are so far off… It’s 1 gazillion percent chance.”

One noted: “Lol. 10 million percent from me.”

Another quipped: “Great minds think alike.”

One exclaimed: “Came here to find this.”

Another added: “Me watching this game at work right now.”

Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is sure to not mind, having urged Wales to take care of his key player during the international break.
