A stunned groom discovered he’d won £10,000 on a six-fold accumulator on the day he was getting married.
Richard Purcell, 57, married his now-wife Victoria on Saturday and didn’t even know he had won his £25 bet until he checked his account hours later.

The Retired Tesco warehouse worker had his usual Betfred’s Goals Galore No Draw coupon that required all 12 teams to score to win big.
But he was so nearly Don for as AFC Wimbledon left it until stoppage time to equalise against Crewe before still losing the game minutes later.
Richard also bet on Scottish side Arbroath’s 2-1 win over Ayr, with the visitors only bagging their goal two minutes from time.
And Annan Athletic did their part to rescue the wager with a 92minute consolation penalty in their 2-1 defeat at home to Queen’s Park.
I’m the luckiest man alive – and not just because of my bride

Meanwhile, Burton Albion and Doncaster Rovers both did the business in the latter’s 3-1 win in League One.
As did all four of Leyton Orient and Crawley as well as Newport and Oldham.
Richard has since shared his delight at the winning bet and claimed he’s the ‘luckiest man alive’.
He told the Liverpool Echo: “It’s fair to say I was otherwise engaged getting married, so didn’t check my phone for the results until later when I saw a lovely sum of money in my account.
“I always put this kind of bet on and I’ve picked up bits and bobs in the past.
“I’m sure we’ll put it to good use. As for a honeymoon, we’ve booked a nice hotel in Chester.
“I’m the luckiest man alive – and not just because of my bride”.
