Grealish tells Rob Holding to ‘go to bed’ as Arsenal star plays Wonderwall at 2am on Instagram Live after Brighton win

JACK GREALISH tried to be the one that saved Rob Holding – from tiredness – after he told the Arsenal star to stop playing Wonderwall at 2am and ‘go to bed’.

The Gunners defender was strumming along to Oasis’ iconic hit on Instagram Live after his team’s 1-0 win over Brighton and the Aston Villa and England ace was quick to poke fun at him in the comments.

Aston Villa ace Jack Grealish told him to go to bed

Holding was still up in the early hours of the morning after the win at the Amex on Tuesday night.

More than 1,700 people tuned in to see the 25-year-old enjoying a bit of musical relief as he could not sleep.

And fellow night owl Grealish was one of them.

The Aston Villa man first commented: “Great song choice Rob.”

Before chipping in again soon after with: “Robert go to bed.”

After the jibes from his colleague and several other users, Holding explained: “Everyone saying go to bed, the amount of caffeine we have late in the day for the game keeps us up.”

Fans in the comments were loving the banter when Holding’s Gunners team-mate Bukayo Saka echoed Grealish’s sentiments and also told him to get to sleep.

But having seen his England team-mate Saka join in on the action, Grealish could not resist a joke with the young winger.

Grealish then took the opportunity to joke with Saka about his cross-cum-shot goal against Chelsea

Saka’s cross-cum-shot looped over Edouard Mendy and into the Chelsea goal during Arsenal’s 3-1 win over their London rivals on Boxing Day.

And Grealish quipped: “Bukayo, stop lying saying you meant to chip the keeper.”

After the victory at the Emirates, Saka insisted his goal was no fluke to which Grealish called him a liar on Twitter.

He said: “I saw him off his line so I thought I could chip him.”
