FIORENTINA goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski claimed he studied Cristiano Ronaldo’s shots ahead of their clash with Juventus.
But it proved in vain as the Portuguese star beat the keeper not once but twice from the penalty spot in a 3-0 win for the Old Lady.

Ahead of the game, Dragowski told Corriere dello Sport: “I studied Cristiano Ronaldo, I know how he shoots.
“I’m not going to tell you how I predict he’ll take penalties, or he could read this and change it. I’d rather there weren’t any penalties in the game, to be honest.
“My dream right now is to beat Juventus, that is the next objective. It’s not just Ronaldo we should be wary of, as you could pick another five or six players with the quality to win a game, so they can all make the difference.”
But Dragowski – who saw his Polish compatriot Wojciech Szczesny make a series of top saves at the other end – had his hopes of avoiding Ronaldo’s penalties dashed with 40 minutes on the clock.
Miralem Pjanic’s shot hit the hand of German Pezzella and the VAR confirmed the spot kick.
Ronaldo stepped up and slotted his low effort inside the left post beyond Dragowski to score and tie a club record by scoring for a ninth straight game.
The second penalty came ten minutes from time after Federico Ceccherini fouled Rodrigo Betancur, who was making his way through the Fiorentina defence.
The ex-Real Madrid hero found the same corner while student Drgowski dived in the other direction.
Ronaldo now has 19 goals in 19 matches in Serie A this season and is only two short of his tally from the previous campaign.
Matthijs de Ligt added another for Juventus in added time by heading in from a corner.
The result took Juventus six points clear at the top of the league ahead of Inter Milan’s trip to Udinese.
