FIFA 20 players from all around the world have put themselves forward for an epic tournament, all in the name of charity.

What is FIFA Ultimate QuaranTeam?

THE virtual tournament has been devised by League Two side Leyton Orient, who were originally looking to raise £50,000 for charity.

Thanks to an overwhelming response, that figure has already been smashed.

128 teams will be represented around the world, battling it out on FIFA 20 in a knockout competition.

Some are being represented by players themselves – Crystal Palace winger Andros Townsend, Norwich attacker Todd Cantwell and Brighton frontman Neal Maupay are all involved.

While others have picked out fans or e-sports fanatics to represent their badge.

Things got underway on Sunday, March 22 with Orient kicking things off, but goalkeeper Sam Sargeant was knocked out after a 6-3 defeat to Lokomotiv Moscow.

If you would like to donate, head to Orient’s JustGiving page HERE.

The money raised will be split like this:

  • 75 percent of money raised will be given to the EFL within 28 days.
  • The remaining 25 percent will be split between for two very worthy causes.
  • One is the EFL’s chosen charity ‘MIND’, which focuses on raising awareness on mental health.
  • Secondly in funding the all-important COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fundraiser by WHO.

How can I live stream matches?

ORIENT are showing games via Twitch and are encouraging other clubs to do the same.
