The world’s oldest cup competition is back in action – and we will have a winner for 2019/20.
It was feared that the tournament wouldn’t be completed when the country went into coronavirus lockdown – but the FA have laid out the groundwork for a safe return to action.

The final eight teams remaining in the competition are battling it out to reach the semi finals, with the final itself being held at Wembley on August 1.
When is the FA Cup semi final draw?
- Over the weekend June 26-27, the remaining eight teams are playing for a place in the final four.
- Norwich vs Man Utd play on Saturday night, before three matches on Sunday including Leicester vs Chelsea.
- The final match on Sunday is Newcastle vs Man City – and the draw will take place in the half-time interval of that match.
- Kick-off is at 6.30pm BST, so the draw itself will start around 7.15pm.

Which TV channel and live stream can I watch it on?
- You can catch this game live on BBC ONE, with the channel showing Newcastle vs Man City from St James Park.
- For those of you who want to stream, the draw will also be shown across the FA’s social channels.
- These include their Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts plus the BBC iPlayer.
FA Cup semi-final dates
- Ties to take place on weekend July 18-19.
- The FA Cup final is set for Saturday, August 1.
FA chief executive officer Mark Bullingham said: “We are pleased to agree the provisional restart date for the 2019-20 Emirates FA Cup.
“The competition has been an integral part of the English football calendar for nearly 150 years, and we’d like to thank the Premier League executive and clubs for their support in scheduling the remaining matches during this unprecedented time.
“This has been a difficult period for many people and, while this is a positive step, the restart date is dependent on all safety measures being met. The health and wellbeing of players, staff and supporters remains our priority.”
