ERLING HAALAND’S blistering start to life at Borussia Dortmund continued on Saturday as he scored his sixth goal in just 75 minutes.
And Jadon Sancho made a little bit of history as he became the top-scoring teenager of all time in the Bundesliga as he opened the scoring with his 25th goal for Dortmund.
But all eyes were on Haaland as he was handed his first start since an £18million move from RB Salzburg last month.
The highly-rated youngster, 19, snubbed interest from Manchester United to link up with the likes of Marco Reus and Julian Brandt.
And Haaland’s Dortmund career got off to a flyer when he came off the bench to score a hat-trick against Augsburg in just 23 minutes.
The Norwegian carried his fine form into the next game against Cologne, when he netted twice – again off the bench – for a total of five goals in just 57 minutes.
And Haaland made it six in 75 minutes when he struck the second against Union Berlin with just 18 minutes on the clock.
His latest goal came just moments after Sancho put Dortmund ahead in front of their jubilant home fans with his 25th goal for the club.
Sancho has now scored the most goals by a teenager in the history of the Bundesliga.
And any interested parties keen on bringing the winger back to the Premier League are sure to have meet a large asking price this summer.
As for Haaland, he is expected at some stage to move on from Dortmund.
United will most likely remain keen after missing out on his coveted signature.
And they had to make do with a new winter window striker in the shape of ex-Watford man Odion Ighalo on a six-month loan deal from Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua.
