ENGLAND put on a dominant display to see off Ryan Giggs’ Wales 3-0 in front of an empty Wembley.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin took just 26 minutes on his Three Lions debut to nab his first goal and continue his stellar run of form.

Wolves centre-back Conor Coady thumped in a second for Gareth Southgate’s side with an emphatic finish before Danny Ings produced a spectacular overhead kick.

Nick Pope – 7
Burnley man handed a chance to put serious pressure on out-of-sorts Pickford – and did his cause no harm.
Showed good handling to keep out a header from Mepham and was brave to come out at the feet of Moore – with the striker coming off worse.
Joe Gomez – 6
Liverpool man was hoping for a quieter night than he had on Sunday at Aston Villa and certainly got that.
Replaced by Mings just before the hour and the Villa man overshadowed him by setting up a goal within ten minutes.
Conor Coady – 7
What a night for the Wolves man! Arrived at the back post to finish off Trippier’s free-kick with a half volley early in the second half.
His first goal in two years in only his second start for his country – and had a smile as wide as Wembley. Ended the night with the armband too.
Michael Keane – 6
Lost Moore early on which could have led to a goal – but he was bailed out by the alert Pope.
Found it easier once the giant forward had gone off and teed up a great chance for Coady in the first half.

Kieran Trippier – 7
Made captain for the night and marked it by having a hand in two goals. Nice pass to Grealish for the first one.
Then curled a delightful free-kick into the path of Coady to finish – before bowing out just before the hour mark.
Harry Winks – 6
Took a while to find his feet as the Wales midfielders had control of the game early on.
Spurs man grew into it to help the Three Lions take charge before making way for Ward-Prowse late on.
Kalvin Phillips – 7
Leeds man got better and better as the game wore on – always wanting the ball.
Used it intelligently with some some clever passes in behind the Dragons defence and also made a few key interceptions to break up attacks.
Bukayo Saka – 7
Arsenal youngster made his senior bow just a month after making his Under-21s debut and was nervy early on but grew into the game.
First-half lapse almost presented Moore with the opener for the Dragons but almost scored as his deflected shot was saved by Hennessey.
Jack Grealish – 8
Villa man was outstanding on his full debut – popping up in various positions during the game and had a lively battle with Ampadu.
Beat his man on the right and stood up a perfect cross for Calvert-Lewin to nod home the opener – a moment which brought the game to life.

Danny Ings – 7
Superb technique to mark his first England start with a goal in the second half as he met Mings’ header down with an overhead kick.
Earlier had shown some clever link ups with Calvert-Lewin but ensured he was not outshone by his fellow forward, who had just been subbed.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin – 7
An international debut the in-form Everton man will never forget as he rose to nod home a super first-half cross from Grealish.
Could even have scored earlier as he went round Hennessey but found the angle too tight. A real threat for the hour he was on.
