JOSE MOURINHO had a huge training ground bust-up with Danny Rose after he dropped him for Saturday’s match with Watford, according to reports.
The Tottenham left-back was said to have been furious after being axed ahead of the 0-0 draw.

Rose wanted to know why Mourinho had claimed he had a back issue and that was the reason for his omission.
The England star believed he was fit to play and sought an explanation from Mourinho in their Sunday warm-down session following the game at Vicarage Road.
The Daily Mail report that “the two clashed” with “voices becoming raised” and onlookers describing a “big tension in the air”.
It is claimed some players were unhappy at Rose’s reaction and how he seemingly made the situation worse.
The pair had a one-to-one session during Monday’s training at the club’s Enfield base, where Rose reported back to the club as normal.
Mourinho is understood to have wanted a return to the status quo as soon as possible and he sought out the ex-Leeds man to clear the air.
Rose, who was linked with Watford, PSG and Juventus in the summer, has spoken of his desire to quit Spurs.
He previously hailed Mourinho’s appointment after the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino as an indication of how far the club have come.
But that has not stopped his determination to fight for an exit despite being the side’s longest-serving star.
He said: “I’ve never had a conversation with him and I don’t see why I need to.
“As I said before, I’m here for the next 18 months so I don’t see why I need to have a conversation with the manager.
“I want to do as well as I possibly can, work as hard as I can to achieve what looked impossible a few weeks ago, and that is finishing in the top four.”
Rose has started just one Premier League game since Mourinho took charge on November 20 – the 1-0 home defeat to Liverpool earlier this month.
However, he did start both Champions League clashes, the 4-2 home win over Olympiacos on November 26 and the 3-1 away defeat to Bayern Munich on December 11.
On Tuesday, Mourinho insisted there was no issue with Rose and that he missed the Middlesbrough trip having struggled versus Liverpool.
The coach told reporters: “I don’t have any problem with him. He was not selected against Watford and Middlesbrough.
“The reason he was not selected against Middlesbrough is we have a young left-back we want to develop and it was a great opportunity to play Ryan Sessegnon. And also because his performance against Liverpool was not phenomenal.
“On the Thursday before Watford, late evening, I got a call from my medical staff saying that Danny was calling them with a problem in his back and he wouldn’t train the next day.
“So Friday, the day before the game, it was a bit of a surprise that he was ready to train.
“It was not a big problem but even so I decided then to play with Japhet Tanganga and have Ryan on the bench. That’s the situation.”
