Cristiano Ronaldo snubs Juventus dinner as squad meet for team bonding session ahead of Roma clash

CRISTIANO Ronaldo snubbed a Juventus team bonding session after the rest of the squad met up for dinner.

Juve travel to fourth placed Roma on Sunday, with Ronaldo’s side trailing Inter Milan in the table, but only on goal difference.

To help give them an extra edge the Serie A champions met up for dinner with Miralem Pjanic, Leonardo Bonucci, Sami Khedira and Blaise Matuidi sharing the squad pic online.

But missing from the photo is Ronaldo – who kick-started the decade with a bang, netting his 56th career hat-trick as Juve thrashed Cagliari 4-0.

Days before the team bonding session the Portugal skipper posted a ripped picture online as he worked out with a kettlebell.

Ronaldo – who claims he has the body of a 23-year-old – works hard to maintain his amazing physique and could have been preparing for the clash by training, not enjoying a night out.

The 34-year-old spends hours in the gym, working on Pilates-based exercises rather than lifting heavy weights.

In particular the former Man Utd superstar uses resistance work to strengthen his core and spends hours in the pool.

He also has a cryotherapy chamber installed in his house.

Standing in the chamber for around three minutes, liquid nitrogen freezes Ronaldo to between minus 160 and minus 200 degrees Celsius.

The treatment allows Ronaldo to be ready for the next match or training session sooner -and continue his incredible reign at the top of world football.
