Despite taking a breather, Ronaldo looks in spectacular shape at the age of 35.

And the legendary forward revealed he was “feeling good” too, as he captioned his shirtless pic on Instagram.

Ronaldo has every reason to feel good – with rumours suggesting he could play alongside friendly rival Messi in 2020-21.

The pair have won 11 Ballons d’Or between them and are forever being pitted against each other in the race to be crowned the world’s best.

But now, with Juventus “dreaming of a Ronaldo-Messi partnership” they could finally play together after nearly 20 years on opposite sides.

Messi, 33, stunned the footballing world by announcing he wanted to quit the Nou Camp this summer.

Messi was left frustrated by a blazing row with club chiefs, their post-lockdown LaLiga meltdown and the 8-2 hammering at the hands of red-hot Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

And while Manchester City are strong favourites to sign the legendary forward, reports claim Messi’s team “like the appeal” of Juventus.

The Serie A champions are claimed to want to bring Ronaldo and Messi together due to their “respect” and “appreciation” for each other in their quest to win their first Champions League title since 1996.

The iconic duo have frequently discussed their admiration for each other, despite their rivalry for the title of football’s greatest.

However, Juventus won’t have it all their own way in their pursuit of Messi.

How Juventus could line-up with both Ronaldo and Messi

Earlier this week, SunSport revealed Man City will go “all out” to reunite Messi and Guardiola.

And now, Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu is said to have rejected Messi’s meeting request.

Bartomeu is only willing to allow the 33-year-old superstar to leave if his £624million release clause is met in full.
