CRISTIANO RONALDO could only sit back and applaud as Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr copied his famous Siiiii celebration in the El Clasico win over Real Madrid.
The 19-year-old forward found the target in the 70th minute with a bit of help from the unfortunate Gerard Pique in last night’s 2-0 win at the Bernabeu.

The Juve star appreciated the brilliance he saw on the pitch
Ronaldo – who was caught up in a coronavirus lockdown at Juventus – made his way to the Spanish capital to see his old side take on Barcelona.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner was in the directors’ box to see Real go top of La Liga on what was his first trip back to his old stomping ground since his £99million move to Juve in the summer of 2018.
And he looked pleased with the legacy he has left in Spain when Vinicius struck and ran to the corner flag to leap in the air, mimicking his own great celebration.
Former Flamengo star Vinicius recognised the enormity of the moment in an Instagram post after the game.
Vinicius paid tribute to his hero after the game with this Instagram post
He put up a photo of the celebration with the caption: “My idol @cristiano.”
And his strike also made history.
His goal meant he became the youngest player to score in El Clasico in the 21st century, beating the record previously held by Lionel Messi.
The Barca icon became the youngest person in the modern era to score in the fixture when he netted in a 3-3 draw at the Nou Camp in March 2007.
But according to Opta, Brazilian forward Vinicius was 26 days younger.
And he revealed why he felt the need to perform the celebration after the game.
He said: “Ronaldo came into the dressing room at half-time to support the team and give us moral support.
“That’s why I celebrated like him. He’s a winner on and off the pitch.”
