JUVENTUS hitman Cristiano Ronaldo is well and truly getting into the festive spirit ahead of Christmas Day.
Like millions of people around the globe, the Portuguese superstar is spending the festive season with his family.
And just like us normal folk, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has been sat around the Christmas tree with his four children, Cristiano Jr, Alana, Eva and Mateo.
It wouldn’t be Christmas without an obligatory family photo around the tree, which Ronaldo and his stunning girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez shared to their social media accounts.
Alongside an adorable snap of his family, the former Real Madrid and Manchester United hitman wrote: “We wish you a Merry Christmas!! Full of love, health and happiness.”
Rodriguez, mother of Alana, wrote: “Merry Christmas.
“I wish you all the happiness in the world and above all that there is no lack of health and love in our homes.”
The pair’s Instagram posts received four million and 750,000 likes respectively.
Ronaldo’s sharing of the heart-warming snap comes a few days after he received the prestigious Golden Foot award.
Upon receiving the award, he tweeted: “I am honoured to win the @goldenfootofficial and to be immortalised on the Champion Promenade in Monaco, together with some of the greatest football legends of all time!
“I am truly humbled and want to thank the fans all over the world for having voted for me.”
The 35-year-old received the accolade after another fine year for club and country, in which he scored 44 goals in 45 appearances.
Ronaldo’s glut of goals – which helped fire Juventus to their 36th Scudetto – saw him set FIVE new records.
The Portugal international broke the record for the fastest 50 Serie A goals, a milestone he reached in 61 appearances.
Just seven players have managed to score a hat-tricks of CL hat-tricks
Additionally, he became the first player to score more than 50 goals in three of Europe’s top leagues.
The former Sporting Lisbon man also became the first Portuguese player to score a hat-trick in Serie A and broke Juve’s all-time record for the most goals scored in a season.
And to top things off, he matched the mark for most consecutive goals in Serie A matches, scoring in 11 games in a row.
Ronaldo and his Juventus team-mates will be back in action a week on Saturday, welcoming Udinese to the Allianz Stadium.
