Although their chances of finishing in the top four improved after a 2-0 win over Chelsea on Monday, European glory and FA Cup success remain their only hopes to pick up a trophy.

The hosts sit nine points clear at the top of the Belgian Pro League and were drawn against the Red Devils after they were knocked out of their Champions league group.

What time does Club Brugge vs Man Utd kick off?

The first leg of the Europa League round of 32 will take place on  Thursday, February 20.

Kick off is at 5.55pm UK time – that’s 12.55pm US Eastern Time.

The game will be held at Jan Breydel Stadium in Bruges.

The two sides have only met twice and that was way back in 2015 as the Red Devils finished victorious in both matches.

Former Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet is expected to be Club Brugge’s number one, while Eder Balanta and Percy Tau – currently on loan from Brighton – will will be key for the Belgium side.

Stat attack!

  • Man Utd have already lost four times in 2020 in all competitions
  • The two teams last met in the Champions League play-off round in 2015 when United won 7-1 on aggregate
  • Club Brugge have lost just once in 14 matches

Unsurprising, the Red Devils are favourites to win in Belgium, but only just.

They are 29/10 to beat Club Brugge, while the hosts are 19/10 to have an advantage going into the reverse fixture.

And they are not huge odds to knock Man Utd out of the competition at just 11/4.
