CHELSEA legend Branislav Ivanovic accidentally broke the Russian Cup – after his Zenit side beat FC Khimki in the final.
The centre-half and skipper lifted the trophy to celebrate, but then watched in horror as it slipped from his grasp and smashed.

It landed on the floor and then broke.
The Serbian’s Zenit side had defeated Khimki 1-0 in the showpiece final in Moscow.
But the St Petersberg club had to put their celebrations on hold as they tried to fix the cup, but to no avail.
And Twitter went into meltdown afterwards.
Martin Ogilvie tweeted: “Having a breakable football trophy probably not the brightest idea.”
While ‘George’ said: “Lol Ramos did the same from the top of the parade bus a few years back.”
And Jack Gregory posted: “He never really looked comfortable lifting that. Must be made of lead.”
Ivanovic, 35, joined the Russian team in 2017.
He spent nine years at Stamford Bridge from 2008 to 2017, winning the Champions League in 2012.
The defender joined Blues from Lokomotiv Moscow in a £9million deal.
Video footage emerged of Ivanovic breaking the cup.
He was presented with the cup.
He held it for about 30 seconds.
But when he tried to hoist it up into the air he lost his grip.
It then crashed to the pitch from seven foot in the air, smashing in half.
One team-mate is seen putting his hands to his head in dismay before slipping off.
But it didn’t stop the players from Zenit – set to sign Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren – from celebrating their victory.
The final was played behind closed doors due to the coronavirus.
