DANNY DRINKWATER has returned to Aston Villa training after being banished for a bust-up with team-mate Jota.
The Chelsea loanee’s future was in jeopardy in March – just before the season was suspended amid the coronavirus pandemic – as he HEADBUTTED team-mate Jota during a violent row.

But it appears the 30-year-old – who showed off his ripped lockdown physique online – has been given a second chance as he returned to Villa’s Bodymoor Heath base for small-group sessions this week.
According to The Mail, his relationship with 28-year-old Spanish midfielder Jota is “amicable”.
Villa, who pay half of Drinkwater’s £110,000 a week wages, were said to have considered cutting his loan short after the bust-up.
It would have been the second loan to have ended early for Drinkwater, after Burnley terminated his spell with them early in January.
Drinkwater only managed one Premier League start at The Clarets, where his stay was marred by a drunken fight in Manchester.
The brawl left him with bruising on his face.
Since winning the Premier League with 5,000-1 outsiders Leicester City in 2016, Drinkwater’s career has been on a downward slope.
He was called up to multiple England squads while still with the Foxes, but since joining Chelsea he has struggled for game time.
A £35million signing for the Blues in 2017, Drinkwater has played just 17 Premier League games in three seasons.
