England’s record goalscorer lined up as a striker but the 36-year-old’s influence was minimal as Derby only managed one shot on target.

Daniel Johnson’s 92nd-minute penalty capped off a comeback by Preston after Jason Knight put The Rams ahead in the 51st-minute.
Preston should have been infront in the first half after former Manchester United youngster Josh Harrop forced Kelle Roos into a good save.
Derby were then down to ten men after Mike Te Wierik was sent off which allowed Preston sub Tom Barkhuizen to smash an equaliser in off the bar before Johnson slotted home from the spot.
