When is the Bundesliga restart?

The Germany’s Bundesliga is back on Saturday, May 16.
Chancellor Angela Merkel has given the green light for the league – which last played on March 8 – to restart.
And it will be Dortmund and Schalke kicking things off in the Revierderby at 2.30pm.
Champions Bayern Munich, who lead the division by four points, will also be in action on the re-opening weekend as they travel to Union Berlin.
The DFL (German Football Association) has said that there will be strict protocols adhered to.
The clubs have been training since mid-April in groups.
Uefa President Aleksander Ceferin welcomed German football’s imminent return hailing it as a turning point.
Ceferin said: “It is great news that the German authorities have agreed that the Bundesliga can return.
“This is a huge and positive step to bringing optimism back to people’s lives.”

Borussia Dortmund – with Manchester United transfer target Jadon Sancho in their side – open up against Schalke in a mouth-watering clash.

- In the UK, BT Sport have the rights to the Bundesliga.
- The channel have confirmed that they will be broadcasting the restarted league.
- It will be available to subscribers on BT Sport’s channels, their website, and their app.
What is the Bundesliga table?
Champions Bayern Munich sit four points clear of Dortmund at the top.
While it’s a relegation battle for Werder Bremen and the race heats up for Champions League and Europa League places.
