BT Sport and Sky Sports link-up for new package to watch Premier League AND Champions League football for cheaper

BT SPORT have linked up with Sky Sports to provide a new TV package to watch Premier League and Champions League football for less.

Other than Amazon Prime Video’s two matchweeks in December, the two broadcasters own the TV rights to the televised English top-flight matches.

Sky Sports boast 128 live games from the Premier League’s 360 this season while every Champions League match is available on BT.

Now fans have the chance to watch all 11 Sky Sports channels through NOW TV and four BT Sport channels in one incredible deal.

The Big Sport package combines the best of televised sport – including the golf majors, UFC, boxing, Formula One and plenty more – for £40 per month while the Sport package with the four BT channels is £15 per month.

BT have five deals for consumers to choose from, including the £10-per-month Entertainment, £20-per-month Big Entertainment and the VIP deal for £60 per month, which features Sky’s other entertainment and sport channels, including those in HD.

The flexibility of the 24-month BT deals also means customers can change their package on a month-by-month basis.

That allows fans to switch to the Big Sport deal for the final few months of the season as the race for the top four, battle to avoid relegation and Champions League finale hots up.

Viewers will also be able to pause, rewind and record channels while they can add BT TV in another room for £5 per month.

At the same time as NOW TV is made available to BT TV customers, Sky will be offering BT Sport directly to their customers from February 21.

Marc Allera, CEO of BT’s Consumer division said: “Life doesn’t stand still from month to month, so we don’t believe our customers’ TV should either.

“Now with a click of a button you can take out the Big Sport package to catch the top Premier League fixtures one month and swap it for VIP for a rainy school holiday with the family the next.”
