Yet others may feel differently, particularly those with vulnerable relatives.
One player is known to have a partner with serious health issues.
While boss Potter, whose wife has concerns about him returning due to health problems in her own family, wants the Premier League to give guidance on what happens if a player tests positive.
Asked if he is preparing for a scenario where he does not have his full contingent available, he said: “Yeah, I guess so.
“If it comes down to the stage when we have to play — because the guidelines are missing at the moment — then the assumption is we have to adapt to the possibility that may happen. It would be nice to have clarity.”
Three players out of 14 have so far tested positive for Covid-19. The most recent one was shocked to find out as he is asymptomatic and is recovering well in self-isolation.
Chief executive Paul Barber said: “We bought a very small number of kits privately at the start of the crisis, not from the NHS or from a supplier to the NHS.
“We’ve done our best to ensure we’ve shielded the NHS from our own business as much as we can.”
