BOOKIES have suspended betting on Gareth Bale’s return to Tottenham after being bombarded with a number of big bets in the last 24 hours.
The Welshman has been heavily linked with a move back to North London despite his agent claiming he will not leave Real Madrid this month.

Paddy Power slashed their odds on Bale leaving Madrid for Tottenham from 3/1 to 8/15 on Tuesday morning.
The bookmaker have now suspended gambling on the move after a number of big bets were placed in quick succession.
Bale made his name with Spurs before he completed a world record £85million move to the Spanish giants in 2013.
But he has been tipped to leave the Bernabeu this month after failing to live up to expectations under the management of Zinedine Zidane.
The Wales international is under contract with the La Liga side until 2022 after he extended his stay in 2016.
He came close to leaving in the summer after Zidane urged the club to sell him – even if they lose money in the process.
And Bale’s fall out with the manager reached new lows when his agent labelled Zidane a “disgrace” for his lack of respect.
But his agent, Jonathan Barnett, has insisted he is “going nowhere” during the January transfer window.
And he claimed the Spurs star is “very unlikely” to leave at the end of the season.
