And they have now ensured that 33 of the remaining 92 league games this season can be viewed without a subscription.

Alex Green, MD Prime Video Sport Europe, said: “Like the rest of the country, we are excited to see the Premier League return to action.

“We will be making all four of Amazon Prime Video’s additional fixtures in the 2019/20 season available free of charge; fans will not need a Prime membership to view the games on Prime Video.”

The remaining 92 Premier League games are set to be shared four-ways, with Sky Sports holding the bulk of the rights and will air 64 matches.

25 of those will be freely available – including the Merseyside derby between Everton and Liverpool – via Sky’s Pick channel and simulcast on Sky Sports.

Sky’s rivals BT Sport, who have already been earning plaudits for its coverage of the Bundesliga’s return, will screen 20 of England’s top-flight clashes.

While the last four will be available on the BBC; the first time since the Premier League’s inception in 1992 that the Beeb has shown live games.

Amazon had signed a £90million deal with the Premier League to show 20 matches a season in the UK for the next three years.

The streaming powerhouse were praised for their punditry and slick coverage earlier this season after landing more than SEVENTY familiar faces.

This included Alan Shearer, Alex Scott, Chris Waddle, Dion Dublin, Eni Aluko, Gabby Logan, Glenn Hoddle, Harry Redknapp, Michael Owen, Peter Crouch and Robbie Savage.

As of yet, it is unclear which four games Amazon currently has the rights to but planned kick-off times in the UK for live matches have been staggered in order to satisfy all footy fans on TV.

Two could be aired in one night, at 6pm and 8pm. Others could be shown at 3pm on Saturdays following the official restart on Wednesday June 17.
