The pair have been married since December 2014
Morgan, 30, plays for Orlando Pride in the National Women’s Soccer League and her child is expected to arrive in April.
She recently surprised fans by announcing she was planning on playing for the USA at the Tokyo Olympics this summer.
Coronavirus has seen the Olympics postponed along with almost all other major sporting events across the globe.
But Morgan has bigger things to worry about as American measures require women giving birth to do so at hospital alone.
They are not allowed to bring partners with them in an attempt to curb the spread of the disease.

A doula is a trained professional similar to a midwife who helps the mother during childbirth.
Fan reaction was mixed online.
One wrote: “My wife’s due May 2 and the anxiety and stress of this has been crippling.”
While another argued: “As much stress as this causes you – trust me that the medical professionals working are under WAY more. Global pandemic requires difficult actions by all.”
And one user went one step further and said: “I see your point but we’re literally in the middle of a global pandemic. How many lives is that stress and anxiety worth?”
