ADAM LALLANA suffered a nightmare reunion with Liverpool on Saturday – lasting just eight minutes on the pitch.
Brighton boss Graham Potter brought the midfielder on in the 63rd minute of the 1-1 draw.

A tangle with Georginio Wijnaldum ruled the midfielder out of the rest of the game
However, in the 71st minute, Lallana was injured in a clash with Georginio Wijnaldum.
It meant the Seagulls were forced to end the 32-year-old’s encounter with the team he played for for six years.
Lallana signed for Liverpool in 2014 before leaving on a free in the summer, with a Premier League and Champions League trophy to his name.
Before the game, Jurgen Klopp spoke of the reunion as a nice moment for Liverpool given the player’s popularity around the club.
He said: “It’s not easy to miss Adam Lallana because pretty much everybody here in the club still has contact with him!
“Not this week so much. Because he’s just a friend for life for all of us.”
We have seen an increase in injuries and there’s no coincidence that it’s because of the amount of games being played. Simple as that.
Adam Lallana
Lallana was not the only player to succumb to injury at the AmEx.
Neal Maupay was taken off injured just moments after missing a penalty in the first-half.
And James Milner had to be substituted when pulling up himself while Liverpool led 1-0.
Klopp was left furious when his side surrendered the lead to a late Pascal Gross penalty, and the coach continued his tirade against the league’s fixture scheduling after the match.
Before the lunchtime kick-off, Lallana himself had expressed his concern over injuries.
The midfielder has featured in all ten of Brighton’s Premier League matches since signing.
He told Between The Lines Podcast: “The amount of games you have is relentless.
“And I think we’re all going through a phase at the minute where there’s been an increase in injuries, there’s lots of debates happening about whether we should have five subs in the Premier League.

“The players are the ones that suffer, they’re the ones that it feels like they’re just getting rolled out every three to four days.
“Especially during this pandemic which brings the added pressures. I don’t think it’s fair, but who am I to say that?
“It’s another talking point isn’t it, but we have seen an increase in injuries and there’s no coincidence that it’s because of the amount of games that are being played. Simple as that.”
